We live in a society where there is ALWAYS something to do. Television shows, movies, shopping, video games, anything and everything online, sports, jobs, school, phones, texts, ipads. But Sunday was Easter…and I don’t know if its like this everywhere….but in the Midwest shit shuts down for this holiday. So I’m outside on Sunday and there are kids and families everywhere. Some I had never seen before and Ive lived in my house for over 6 years now. They were out with remote control cars and skateboards…they were playing catch and sitting eating at picnic tables. And I couldn’t help but think what a shame it is that it takes a random holiday before families spend time interacting with each other. In my opinion it would be so much better if we all just slowed the hell down.
